I work with clients on their individual needs and tailor my approach to each person I work with. While these are my areas of specialty, I do see individuals outside of these specialties on a case by case basis.
areas of specialty
I utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns and work to reframe and change these into more helpful, useful thoughts and beliefs. Themes of negative thoughts cycles might focus on relationships, school/work, or what we've come to believe about ourselves.
anxiety
Do you struggle with confidence or unrealistic standards? Using Cognitive Behavioral therapy can help to build or rebuild the destructive thoughts and beliefs we have been telling ourselves for years.
perfectionism and low self esteem
Trauma can occur on a spectrum. I have training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy that helps individuals work through their thoughts and emotions related to the traumatic event(s) and provide them with skills to better cope and move through the trauma.

Depression can present itself in many different ways, where I have experience in working through many forms of depression, including self-harm and/or suicidal thoughts. Dialectical Behavior Therapy has been helpful to clients in working to regulate their emotions in a more effective and healthy manner.
